As already mentioned before, KTM Duke 125 doesn’t share any design components from the KTM Duke 390. So in India, you’ll get KTM Duke 125 with a design precisely similar to its elder sibling KTM Duke 200 from those orange coloured alloy wheels to the entire body frame. Even though the graphics have been overhauled which looks very noteworthy. This has been done to keep the cost check low as the bike is already very overpriced for the Indian Markets.

KTM Duke 125 is a pocket rocket if you have a look at its performance. You won’t even realise that between your legs is a 124.7cc,liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC motor that blasts out 14.5hp at 9,250rpm and 12Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. All that smooth performance is delivered to the rear wheel through a 6-speed transmission supported by a chain drive.
Handling and control seen on KTM Duke 125, is entirely the same which is present on the KTM Duke 200 including a trellis frame, 43mm USD fork, and an adjustable monoshock. To provide superior braking performance from 100-0 kmph, the KTM Duke 125 comes equipped with a first in segment single-channel ABS unit.

Discussing about the overall performance of KTM Duke 125, the bike is excellent in terms of handling and power delivery. We can say its nearly the equivalent KTM Duke 200 except for the 124.7 cc motor. But shockingly, it doesn’t get the Duke 390 styling as accessible in the international variant, and when we talk about its price tag, the bike is slightly overpriced as compared to its other market rivals like the TVS Apache RTR200 4V ABS, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, Yamaha R15 V3 and Hero Xtreme 200R.
