Rimac Nevera - A New Era Of Electrified Hypercar Performance Rimac Nevera – A New Era Of Electrified Hypercar Performance
Rimac Automobili has done a brilliant job designing the Nevera, there is nothing that could be tagged as impractical on this hypercar. The exterior plays a key role in Nevera’s active aerodynamics system that adjusts four different elements, two at the front and two at the back including the rear wing. All of these active elements are hydraulically operated ducts and wings that automatically deploy as the car accelerates, brakes, corners, or is even at its top speed. These active elements help the Rimac Nevera generate 326 percent more downforce with high-speed stability, cornering, and even functioning as an air brake. As it is a fully electric hypercar, almost every action of the car is controlled by an intelligent ICU unit that takes care of the dampers, brakes, steering, throttle, electronic stability control (ESC), etc.
Walking towards the side profile of the Nevera is where you’ll notice a long shape that effectively runs from the front wheel arches and narrows ahead of the rear wheels resembling a neck-tie. “The neck-tie has provided a symbol of Croatian strength and identity since the 17th century,” as per Rimac Automobili’s design director, Adriano Mudri. However as we have mentioned earlier, there is nothing impractical on this car. The neck-tie design functions as an air intake for the rear cooling systems.
