Designed after TVS’s 35 years of racing experience, TVS Apache RR310 is the only fully-faired bike from TVS. The new TVS Apache RR 310 has been designed and tested at each curve of its design in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility which optimised the RR 310 to gives out the best-in-class coefficient of drag to achieve maximum downforce, higher top speed and minimum wind blast. The bike has been designed so well that it simply cleared out all its competitors in terms of looks and design when it was first launched in India two years back. The Apache RR 310 gets all-LED twin projector headlamps and laser tail lamps which remain on from the time you turn on your ignition key.

The all-new Apache RR 310 uses a 312.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor borrowed from BMW. Yes, you heard that right. TVS Apache RR 310 runs on the same engine that we get to see on the BMW G310R and BMW G310 GS. Though the RR 310 ECU gets a different state of tune which produces 33 bhp of power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm which comes in role mated to a 6-speed transmission with the help of a slipper clutch for smoother gear transactions. As BMW builds the engine, most of the engine components come with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, which gives more wear resistance and durability along with excellent power delivery at top speeds.

TVS Apache RR 310 runs on an extremely lightweight chassis from BMW Motorrad’ supported by super-stiff trellis frame, race-tuned KYB suspension, mass centralised layout and wind tunnel tested race ergonomics to provide excellent handling stability and easily tame the 310 cc powerplant at higher speeds and compact cornering speeds. The TVS Apache RR 310 also comes equipped with BMW Motorrad Dual Channel ABS, ride by wire throttle, and grippier Michelin Pilot radial tyres for better braking stability while decelerating from incredibly high speeds. Apart from that, the all new TVS Apache RR 310 now also comes with a 5 inch TFT LCD display instrument cluster. The all new TFT LCD display instrument console helps you toggle between four different riding modes from Track and Sport mode to Rain and Urban mode. ABS and throttle response works differently on each riding mode on offer.

Overall, the Apache RR 310 is a fantastic beginners bike to go for as a great package of comfort, power, equipment and built quality when compared to its only fully-faired rival KTM RC390. The only drawback that can be felt on the all-new TVS Apache RR 310 is the vibrations, though TVS is working over the vibrations from a few years of the launch and have successfully reduced some vibes on the bike. But if you guys need more of power and less of comfort and equipment than you should definitely opt for the KTM RC390 or the KTM Duke 390.
